SERVICES

SUPPORTING PEOPLE IN EXERCISING THEIR RIGHTS.
DEFENDING ALL RIGHTS.

Alter Justice offers information services to anyone seeking information on the Quebec correctional system, criminal records and their impact, and their options in cases of discrimination or when their pardon application is denied.

We explain the laws and regulations governing life in Quebec prisons and provide information based on our expertise. You can get information about your rights and obligations in a wide range of areas, including parole, temporary absences, transfers, security and disciplinary measures, and more.

A criminal record impacts employment, insurance, cross-border travel and housing. Alter Justice can inform you about the impact of a criminal record, possible remedies when you are discriminated against, and how to apply to get your criminal record suspended.

Our team is here to listen, answer questions, guide and find the appropriate resources, all free of charge and in complete confidentiality.
